A detailed email will be sent out shortly in terms of what needs to be done next with respect to registration. We do ask that you commit to the LFLA by next Monday (November 25th) with a non-refundable security deposit of $250 (this will be in addition to the $215 that will need to be completed when registering for the LFLA Elite teams on the LF Rec website). Again, detailed instructions will be sent out to take you through that process.
For the players who were selected, the outline of the Winter/Spring programs are listed below.
For the players not selected, the Lake Forest Park and Recreation will be offering a House League in the Spring. The LFLA will also be sending out additional information on Winter lacrosse alternatives.

Brief overview of the LFLA Elite Program
· Teams will be comprised of approximately 22 players
· If you do not make the LFLA Elite Team, there will be a House League developed in conjunction with the Lake Forest Recreation Department
· There will be two components of the program:
o Winter Program (begin in December)
Ø U13/U15: Consist of two days of training at the Lax Centre as well as participating in a box league in January and February (Tuesday and Thursday)
Ø U9/U11: Consist of one day of training at the Lax Centre as well as participating in a box league in January and February (Tuesdays)
o Spring Program
Ø U13/U15: Will start prior to Spring Break with a “Boot Camp” in doors and then will begin outdoors 3X a week (M,W,Th) with league games on the weekend. There will also be 3 tournaments that we will attend in the Midwest Region
Ø U9/U11: Will start after Spring Break and will practice 2X a week (T,Th) and league games on the weekend. There will be 2 to 3 tournaments that will be attended
· We may also try to get each age group to play in a Winter indoor tournament, but this will be decided based on availability
· 2 paid coaches per team with previous coaching experience and college lacrosse experience – Beginning in Spring they will be coaching practices/games/tournaments
· Uniforms / Practice Gear
Estimated price for U13/U15 will be $1,000 plus uniform and for U9/U11 will be $800 plus uniform (this will be confirmed at parents meeting).

Holiday Lax Clinic

The Holiday Clinic will provide players with focused instruction on individual skills and techniques that will enhance players’ ability to make real time read-and-react decisions with and without the ball. The Holiday Clinic features a core lacrosse training program that includes lacrosse instruction plus group physical and mental conditioning with our elite coaching staff. Some concepts that will be covered throughout the clinic include dodging, pick and rolls, defense, GBs, transition, cutting, 1 on 1’s, and teamwork. We will show players how our lacrosse IQ drills can help their field game. This is the perfect camp for you to keep your skills sharp over the holidays with True Lacrosse’s top coaches directing every session, ensuring each player receives individual, thorough attention.
