PLAY WITH YOUR LFLA TEAM THIS FALL FOR 3rd to 8th GRADERS
DEVELOP YOUR SKILLS WITH LEARN-2-LAX for KINDERGARTEN TO 2nd GRADERS


Fall is approaching and LFLA will offer lacrosse for all players grades K-8.  For players in grades 3-8, we will form Fall Ball teams for 10U, 12U, and 14U.  We will hold Thursday and Saturday practices beginning September 10th with the season culminating at the Top Cheddar tournament in Racine, WI on October 17th-18th.   For players grades K-3 (generally for less experienced 3rd graders), Learn-2-Lax (only $10) will consist of twice weekly Thursday and Saturday training from September 10th to October 15th.  The program will provide all equipment (must be returned at then of fall) at NO COST!

Details:

  • Learn-2-Lax (only $10 to register) -- For players Grades K-2 and 3rd graders who are new to the sport.  We will provide helmets, sticks, gloves, shorts and a pine for no cost (helmet, sticks and gloves must be returned at end of fall).  Training consists of Thursday and Saturday practices beginning September 10th.  The training will focus on developing lax IQ and fundamental skills.

  • Fall Ball Team Play -- We will fields teams for 10U (Grades 3 & 4), 12U (Grades 5 & 6), and 14U (Grades 7 & 8), with Thursday and Saturday practice sessions starting on September 10th and the fall season ending on October 17th-18th at the Top Cheddar Tourney in Racine, WI.

  • Practices -- We will hold practices at West Park (Green Bay Rd.) on Thursdays and Saturdays during the Fall Season.  Please arrive at least 15 minutes, suited up and ready to go for the following start times:

    • Thursday sessions begin at 4:00-5:00 pm for L2L, 10U, & 12U and 5:00-6:00 pm for 14U.

    • Saturday sessions begin at 2:00-3:00 pm for L2L and 3:00-4:30 pm for 10U, 12U and 14U.

  • COVID-19.  We updated our waiver to account for the pandemic, but if your son does not feel well DO NOT bring him to practice.  If you think there is any possibility your son has been exposed to the virus, DO NOT bring him to practice.  We are all in this together and we can't risk having several of our players get sick and spread the virus.  We will follow Illinois guidelines on practices and coaches will be wearing masks.  If you are nervous about your son being with a group of other boys and coaches, we suggest you skip this Fall session.  We are doing our best to offer lacrosse to all of our children, so please be patient and understanding as we proceed.​
