Fall is approaching and LFLA will offer lacrosse for all players grades K-8.  For players in grades 3-8, we will field Fall Ball teams for 10U, 12U, and 14U.  We will have 10 practices on Sunday and Thursday beginning September 12th with the season culminating at the Top Cheddar tournament in Racine, WI on October 16th.   For players grades K-2, the Learn-2-Lax-4-Jack (only $25) program will consist of 10 training sessions on Sunday and Thursday as well from September 12th to October 14th.  Due to the generous donation by the family of Jack Adams, the program will once again provide at minimal cost, including all equipment (helmet must be returned at the end of fall).

Details:

  • Learn-2-Lax-4-Jack (only $25) -- For players Grades K-2.  We will provide helmets, sticks, gloves, and a penny for no cost (helmets must be returned at end of fall).  Training consists of Sunday and Thursday practices beginning September 12th.  The training will focus on developing lax IQ and fundamental skills.

  • Fall Ball Team Play -- We will fields teams for 10U (Grades 3 & 4), 12U (Grades 5 & 6), and 14U (Grades 7 & 8), with Sunday and Thursday practices starting on September 12th and ending on October 16th at the Top Cheddar Tourney in Racine, WI.

  • Practice times and location-- We will hold practices at Townline Park (Route 60) during the Fall Season.  Please arrive at least 15 minutes, suited up and ready to go for the following start times:

    • Sunday sessions begin at 9:00-10:00 am for L2L4J and 10:00-11:30 am for 10U, & 12U and 14U.

    • Thursday sessions begin at 4:00-5:00 pm for L2L4J and 5:00-6:30 pm for 10U, 12U and 14U.

  • COVID-19.  We updated our waiver to account for the pandemic, but if your son does not feel well DO NOT bring him to practice.  If you think there is any possibility your son has been exposed to the virus, DO NOT bring him to practice.  We are all in this together and we can't risk having several of our players get sick and spread the virus.  We will follow Illinois guidelines on practices and coaches will be wearing masks.  If you are nervous about your son being with a group of other boys and coaches, we suggest you skip this Fall session.  We are doing our best to offer lacrosse to all of our children, so please be patient and understanding as we proceed.​

  • Registration -- for the 2021 Fall Season will open August 1st at the LFLA TeamSnap website.
